It’s pretty disgusting when you enter a search for ‘DHS’ on Facebook and THIS is the first result! This propaganda is part of the current regime’s ongoing campaign to instill fear, in hopes of provoking violence, so that the regime can push forward their hideous, inhuman, lawless agenda.

Have you heard of Rahab the Harlot? There’s a fascinating story about her in The Bible, which I’ll talk about further in the Alt Text here.

It’s another great story for anyone who feels that “The Lord” is leading them to ban literature.
Have you heard of Rahab the Harlot? I heard about Rahab the Harlot in the Fundamentalist Baptist church I was required to attend when I was a child. In case you’re not familiar, a harlot is also known as a prostitute or a sex worker. She’s mentioned in the Bible, in Joshua 2:1. “And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot's house, named Rahab, and lodged there.” For those who don’t speak The Queen’s English: “Then Joshua son of Nun secretly sent two spies from Shittim. “Go, look over the land,” he said, “especially Jericho.” So they went and entered the house of a prostitute named Rahab and stayed there.” (New International Version) There’s a whole story about this in Joshua chapter two and it centers around this harlot, Rahab! It’s quite fascinating, actually. I’ll link it below, if you’d like to read it. Long story short though, Rahab was spared- she was protected because she helped these spies by giving them a place to hide in her home. This is in The Bible. (The Harlot of Jericho and the Two Spies, by James Jacques Joseph Tissot, c. 1896-1902.)

I got my bimonthly shot a few hours ago and it is really hitting hard this time. It goes in my hip and this time it’s made the whole length of the outside of my leg ache. I feel like it’s also going to my head, which hasn’t happened before. Good times! Oh, I also got tested for COVID, because I just want to make sure I don’t have it again. Hello! Welcome to my Alt Text on this fine Tuesday!
I made an effort today. I put on an outfit that made me feel good. Didn’t bother with hair and makeup. This was just for a trip to the grocery store and it wanted it to be over with. I walked to the grocery store and bought two bagels, two rolls, a Tetra Pak of pineapple juice, and a box of pancake mix. I’d heard some surgeons saying that pineapple juice is good for recovering from surgery and I’ve been craving pancakes for weeks. Not those tiny little things they show on the box, I mean pancakes the size of dinner plates. I trudged home with my handy reusable bag containing what somehow amounted to about $11 worth of groceries. When I got back I put them away, put the kettle on, fed Babycat, and poured boiling water in my teacup once the kettle had boiled. Then I went outside and sat on the stoop, which is something I never do, but I wanted to take a picture for you and not just in the usual places. So here I am, giving you a small glimpse of my unvarnished reality. Thank you for joining me in this mundane moment, which is just one of many that make up this grand illusion of adventure. 🧡✨ Freyja the Feral

This week has just zipped by, but not without event.
This photo was taken earlier this afternoon, as the last rays of gorgeous afternoon light filtered through the blinds. I can’t believe it’s already been just over a week since my surgery. I had my first post surgery check-up on Wednesday, a day shy of one week since my surgery. The surgeon said I’m healing very well and if you didn’t know about the complications that happened you wouldn’t be able to tell. This was. very encouraging news, which is much needed in this times we’re all enduring. Can you believe what is unfolding before our eyes every hour. I spend so much time shaking my head that I swear I have repetitive strain injury of the neck. I’m sure I’m not alone in that. Oddly enough, I have had a lot of new ideas for artwork coming to me and I really feel the need the need to get back to creating. First though, I need to figure out how to make that happen, as I need space and funds to do so. I hope you are all doing marvelously well. Thank you for joining me on this surreal journey. 🧡✨ F-Bomb

Sunday was a personal milestone, so naturally I slept the whole day! Somehow, it was already my fourth tranniversary and as much as I wanted to mark the occasion I also thought it might be a good idea to look at least semi-alive for the occasion. So here we are. Here’s to four years! I can already tell that this is going to be a year for growth and discovery.
