finally learned how to 2 cycle serris! it's funny seeing this done for so many years and then finally learning it and it being not at all that hard LOL. need to fully remember the patterns/figure out core doubles but am happy about the progress regardless :> #speedrunning #metroidfusion

this is honestly one of the better books i’ve read; it’s incredibly well-written & has a great pace to it. plus, video games! unfortunately, i really grew to dislike one of the two MCs and found them to be annoyingly immature even if they (eventually) come to realize that about themselves 👾🎮🏥 8/10

any book that commands my attention in a way that i finish it in a matter of days (ahem, two & a half…) is always going to rank high for me and that’s what The Girl With All The Gifts was for me. if you like The Last of Us franchise in any way, you should give this one a read. 🍄‍🟫 8.5/10

a heartwarming story about dying and its impact on all of us, both living & dead. i wish it had made slightly different choices to end the story with, as it felt mildly anticlimactic to me, but still overall enjoyed the story. 🥁🎤 6.5/10

this one really grew on me as i continued through the story and will probably pick up the sequel to continue the story. the characters were enjoyable, and the book (imo) lived up to its “cozy fantasy” moniker. never thought i’d be one to read romance, but here we are LOL 🫖📚🗡️ 8.3/10

still to this day, looking for alaska is a top 5 book that i’ve ever read, and still to this day, its themes, meanings and story will always be exactly what i need to hear when i need to hear it. eventually we’ll all find our way out of the labyrinth 🚬📖 9/10

never expected to read any of the song of ice & fire books, but had the opportunity to do so in late May and quite enjoyed it! the first book is essentially the first season of the show so it was pretty cool to be able to “watch” while i read 🐺❄️ 7.5/10

continued my Hunger Games binge with Mockingjay, and despite better understanding the themes (anxiety/ptsd) and issues more compared to my first read through as a kid, i’d still have to say it was my least favorite of the three. still a solid ending for a great trilogy 🕊️ 7.4/10

i forgot how much i enjoyed this franchise, so i wanted to continue on with Catching Fire; really enjoyed the depth added to katniss’ character & how she struggles to accept her role as the symbol of a rebellion that she never intended to start - plus, johanna and finnick! 🤩🤩 9.2/10 🔥🌊

i read The Hunger Games when i was in high school, but in an effort to kickstart my love of reading, i decided to give it a reread; i really enjoyed it and also picked up on things i missed from the first time i read it. a strong start for me, looking to keep it going! 8.5/10 🏹

this feels so good to finally grab. first PB in this category in over a year, and with some pretty large mistakes still in it. that 40 is looking oh so tempting…
