I'm autistic and have a bunch of other diagnoses. I like to info dump a lot of facts about a lot of things, including my experiences with my diagnoses. Welcome to my virtual brain feed.
AuDHD and self realized ADHD in 2021 and ASD in 2023. I have worked with autistic people since 2015 and helped get my two oldest nephews diagnosed. But the autism stigma (and childhood C-PTSD from forced neurotypicality) is so much that my brain refused to open up to the idea that it was me too.

9. Neurotypicals try to find the most complex way to say things. I try and find the most direct. Not necessarily via word choice but meaning.
10. The number of parents I interact with at my job who thank me for showing their kids an openly autistic adult makes me fucking cry about once a week.

6. I'm not rude. I'm a member of autistic culture and our social norms are just different from yours.
7. So many places are inherently unfriendly for neurodivergents. I try and tell someone who can make a change if possible.
8. If my neurospicy senses are tingling, I listen. Good. Bad. All of it.

4. Since I have a management position at work, if I'm my AuDHD self, every single neurodivergent employee gets to safely be themselves too.
5. Being able to label something as sensory hell and why it's specifically sensory hell enabled the problem to be more easily resolved.

There are, of course, some useful medical components to scopolamine, but akin to fentanyl or opiates, the use of it is highly regulated. It is most often used for nausea after surgery, motion/pressure sickness in scuba divers, and gastrointestinal issues, and with a miniscule dose applied via patch.

People have cleared their homes, signed over deeds of sale, emptied their bank accounts, and had more sinister crimes done to them. The tree that produces scopolamine is found naturally in many South American countries, including Colombia, which absolutely complicates the use and misuse of the drug.

Now I don't know. I can't remember the last time I wrote it down, and if the "s" is there when I say it, it's more silent and less stressed than the rest of the words.
