Norway has extended its agreement with EU for evacuation of Ukrainian patients to 31 March 2026. So far, more than 3,300 patients and relatives have been transported to Norway and other European countries through the #EUCivilProtection Mechanism. Our support continues. @eu_echo #StandWithUkraine

Today marks 80 years since Norway was liberated – after five years of brutal occupation. Since then, we have enjoyed a free and democratic Norway, and perhaps we have taken it somewhat for granted. Today, on Liberation and Veterans Day, we appreciate those who fought for our freedom. Thank you.

🇺🇦✈️🇳🇴 The medevac plane came back after another medical evacuation of Ukrainian patients yesterday. This helps those affected by Russia's attacks and eases pressure on Ukrainian healthcare. Military support for Ukraine is a priority and the NOR defence sector work every day to support Ukraine.
Norway has evacuated 3,000 Ukrainian patients and their next of kin to hospitals in ten different countries in Europe since 2022. This is possible thanks to a good cooperation between the Norwegian Government and SAS. This important mission continues in support for Ukraine.

This week, air forces from the USA and the UK are exercising in Norway together with the Norwegian Armed Forces. Units from all domains train on effectively identifying, engaging and neutralising targets. Strong allied cohesion like this makes Norway and the High North safer.

I dag er det 1000 dager siden Russland gikk til fullskala invasjon av Ukraina. Ukrainerne kjemper heroisk for friheten og retten til å styre sin egen retning. En av dem er «Keza». – Ukraina er frihet for meg, derfor kjemper jeg for Ukraina. Jeg håper at alt vil bli bra. Det er ikke noen annen vei.
