(3/3) Those are proposed to come with a 2-year salary buyout, plus the already guaranteed pension benefits that the Government already provides to employees. And none of this even begins to touch on those who have been placed on furlough status, based on job classifications who may be at risk.

(2/3) I’m a fed contractor and there’s been a lot of talk in the office that I’m privy to. From discussion yesterday, it’s my understanding that there may even be a buyout program implemented for those who have already met service requirements.

(1/2) Not only is THIS EO applicable to the entire civil service workforce, but will apparently open floodgates for those civil servants not vested with enough service time, to be treated as “at-will” employees that can (and probably will) be dismissed.
