President of the Oklahoma AFL-CIO. Working for workers and growing the labor movement in Oklahoma and beyond. Former state legislator; lifelong Okie.
Friends, I’m running for Oklahoma AFL-CIO President.

Now more than ever, Oklahomans need the kinds of policies that unions fight for. I’ve worked alongside Oklahoma’s unions during my time as a state representative, and I hope to work for them soon.

Let’s get to work!

I deleted a post because I was wrong. First I just admitted I was wrong because simply deleting felt worse. But it was pointed out that leaving up “fake news” is bad, and that’s true too. So here’s the screenshot; I’m not hiding that I was wrong but trying to take accountability.

Women-centered ancient societies did better in warfare because their communities were more unified & less prone to internal feuding.

For the opposite of that, simply tune in to the next four years of governance in a country rapidly taking womens’ rights & agency away.

Gov Stitt just issued this executive order, ending remote work by state employees by Feb 1 2025.

I guarantee we will lose talented workers to the private sector, which understands that flexibility at work is vital in order for people to balance work & family obligations.

This is anti-family.

Either cartoonists should start drawing these again or lawmakers should start fixing the problem, so that a political cartoon from over 100 yrs ago isn’t still relevant today

The pomp and circumstance of winning elections & the pageantry of swearing-in all culminates in the literal signing of a form.

For the 5th time, I had the immense honor of doing that yesterday

It’s a tough place to work but I love the fight. Looking forward to doing as much food as I can.

Here I am encouraging him to try some new material — like facts, for example — next time his string gets pulled.
