Wait, you want state controlled capitalism now? China doesn’t trust the government, they have no other option because the state dictates everything. What’s happened to the party of individual freedom. Listen to yourself friend.

Mr. President seems to enjoy state control of the means of the means of production. He took w10% of Nvidia, US Steel and point blank said he wants a stake in Eli Lilly. He’s got you believing the the Dems, brown people and lgbt folx are scamming you. But it’s actually him.

We won’t resolve it here. Thx for the engagement.

Not blocked. Temporarily paused 2 orders to pay snap while the 1st circuit rules.

I oppose the clean CR bc it raises the debt ceiling 5trillion & gives powers of the purse to the executive. 4trillion of that is for permanent tax cuts for the ultra rich while defunding programs for the people.

*statutes

The benefit could have been legally paid under existing Law weeks ago. KBJ is saying, ‘hey the appellate ct appeal must play out before SCOTUS takes the case.’ Does that make sense? We elected POTUS to execute laws in the People’s best interest not to fight existing statues that protect the people.
November 9, 2025 at 10:40 PM
No. My concern is POTUS had 3 legal opportunities to pay out SNAP & opposed them. I admire KBJ’s ruling because she followed procedure to require an appellate court ruling before SCOTUS takes up the case; demonstrating she is adhering to the law & procedure not political bias.
November 9, 2025 at 10:27 PM
Per the law, the benefit would have been paid from the original 2019 USDA reserve. POTUS stepped in to stop the process, then defied an 11/12 district ct order & appealed the 11/14 order to 1st circuit & SCOTUS rather than disbursing. HTH
November 9, 2025 at 9:43 PM
Indeed. And therein lies the dispute. Do the People want an executive with unchecked power?Or should the legal checks of our judicial & legislative branches exist? What freedoms is the public willing to surrender if the Law itself becomes the authority if one man under the Unitary Executive theory?
November 9, 2025 at 2:49 PM
She sees the problem alright. In their bluster to stop benefits, POTUS’s team jumped over the 1st U.S. court of appeals to SCOTUS after 2 lower district court rulings—stoked to stop his own 2019 plan to protect poor Americans. Now they wait for court of appeals ruling. Who’s Trump fighting for?
November 8, 2025 at 9:31 PM
Ha! Your guy is going to the mat to block his own plan to fund the SNAP program and it’s still someone else’s fault. 😅
November 8, 2025 at 4:33 AM
Fun fact; Tonight the president was granted his request to block using the emergency USDA reserve to fully fund SNAP. It’s a reserve his admin created in 2019 to fund snap during a shutdown. He went above and beyond to stop the payment.
November 8, 2025 at 3:18 AM
Update to warm your heart: Despite his own administration’s creation back in 2019 of an emergency USDA reserve to pay Snap in the event of a shutdown, Mr President defied 2 court orders to pay Snap this week. Tonight he asked SCOTUS for an emergency stay to block usage of said funds.

You seem to have missed the point. Good luck
November 7, 2025 at 3:58 PM
It’s the American people that want the extension of the market place tax credit. We are telling the Dems to stand up against this until Trump comes to the table. He said many times it’s POTUS’s role to lead the negotiation. But now that he’s Potus? Nothing.
November 7, 2025 at 2:21 AM
The president and republicans won’t come to the table to negotiate. They control all 3 branches. Dems are standing up for healthcare. They were told by Thune & Johnson additional terms could be negotiated before the CR was passed. Where’s the Art of Deal now? Governing is NOT a real estate deal.

It’s good news. I’m so tired of Act Blue texts.

Is this still legal in our country?

I’m just taking down my comments. Thanks
June 28, 2025 at 8:49 PM
Okay. You too.
June 28, 2025 at 8:46 PM
Ah okay. I’ll retract my retraction. TBH I don’t see the 2024 results as a productive discussion. I’m not well-versed in it enough to continue commenting. Thx
