Wow, was that really what the Pyramid of the Sun in Mexico looked like in the 1900s—completely covered, looking just like a normal mountain?
It makes you wonder how many more pyramids are still yet to be discovered. 🤔

1882 photo shows the Sphinx partially buried, as it often was for thousands of years. If left alone, it could be buried again in five years, yet it still shows significant erosion. This raises a question: If sand covered it so often, what caused the damage?

Zahi Hawass is dismissing the discovery beneath the Pyramids of Giza as nonsense.
The funny thing is that back in 2008, he did the exact same thing when the cave system was uncovered.
Then, six months later, he was inside those very caves, calling them the greatest discovery!

My wife and I had a fantastic time exploring all that Stonehenge had to offer, from the museum to the magnificent stones themselves.

It sought to prevent the king from exploiting his power, and placed limits of royal authority by establishing law as a power in itself.
