One day in the hopefully not-too-distant future, Eddie is going to make it out of this shithole and finally figure out a way to a) get a record deal, or at least stop languishing in obscurity, and b) get laid, preferably not in that order. But he will always have to live with the knowledge that of all the dudes in all the world, Eddie’s idiot dick chose to set its heart on Steve goddamn Harrington, pretty boy airhead supreme and one of the richest kids in town, a guy so popular he doesn’t even have to do his own bullying. It’s professionally embarrassing, is what it is. No one can ever know.
