A song by a band I collaborate on with some friends, The Estuary 21, hit a million streams on Spotify this week. The fact that tens of thousands of people a month still spin these tunes even when we’ve done zero in a couple of years is mindblowing.

It only takes 15 minutes to shape a future you will have no choice but to live in, help make it more fan friendly.

The industry, the Government, their worlds revolve around data. Help us create a data set that says what YOU think.

Thousands of you have filled this in so far, thank you!

The more responses, the clearer the picture. It really is as simple as that.

Schedule 15 minutes to fill this in, if you haven’t. The data will make sure that fans have a seat at the table.

The expansion of data centers is having serious effects on the US grid, with three-quarters of highly distorted power readings occurring within 50 miles of sites with significant data center activity.

That threatens home appliances and aging energy infrastructure, and increases fire risks.

As each year passes, I become more convinced that one of the key battles of our age is reprogramming our relationship with the internet.

Unconvention was great. Inspiring conference with a theme of preserving and enriching the grassroots. Great to hear hope amongst the challenges.

Up before the sun to head to Manchester for Unconvention. A great space for thinking and talking and more importantly a catalyst for building and doing.

The headline figures are going up, but the market share is declining. 7% decline in market share in global streaming in less than a decade. Growth requires firmer foundations or it’s just price rise economics. Learn from football, support the Grassroots. Back @musicvenuetrust.bsky.social

If you’re a music fan in the UK you probably already know about @musicvenuetrust.bsky.social

The campaign to see a £1 contribution from every stadium and arena ticket go into a fund to protect the Grassroots reached a massive milestone this week.
