💖 Rule by Jay Crownover is if you want something gritty and steamy. There’s also a new movie out based on the book. I think it comes to streaming at the end of the month.

💖 Tessa Dare is always a yes if you’re looking for historical romances that have strong female characters. So, not necessarily historically accurate, but an absolute pleasure to read. The Girl Meets Duke series has Disney Princess vibes!

I love how Sarah Penner mixes modern day with a historical timeline and she uses both timelines to expand the story of the other timeline. If that makes sense.
