One of the biggest things I see when a new DM starts a game is speed. Breathe, slow down, and narrate/role play at your pace. Do not rush, build the suspense, and make every word count. Lastly lie on your first roll jkjk have fun and welcome to the DM club!!!

Half Sword is by far the bloodiest midevail fighter I've played to date. The demo is free and so is the playtest which are two different experiences. I know this is buried in your comments but if any of you get this far give it a go on Steam.
