This horse chestnut was in poor condition and was cut right back for safety but it's still growing! #Nature trying hard to survive.

I've never seen #coppicing like this before. The cut off stems have been stuck in the ground and are flushing, so it must work. Is this a common coppice practice @copsework.bsky.social
