(3/4) But a new USDA–DOI Grazing Action Plan threatens that progress by reopening vacant allotments (even some previously retired), expanding grazing & reducing oversight, increasing risks to already stressed ecosystems. 🚫

When a permit is retired, grazing ends permanently—watersheds heal, erosion slows & native habitats rebound—while ranching families gain more choices for their future. ✅
