Yeah. Pop in general. But pop country especially.

So, basically, you can’t always pay attention to what the president says because sometimes he’s too emotional to speak logically, coherently, or clearly. And you have to be able to discern for yourself when what he says means something or is just his emotions talking. Ok.

Not sure how popular country music is ‘round yer parts, but if there were a song a computer could fabricate easily with a basic formula, it is definitely a country song. And if there were a group of fans that would love the next formulaic reiteration of the same basic song, it would be country fans.

This video has a special place in my heart because it is the first time I saw Robert Smith.

Backing down and giving in is actually how we should be standing up here. Just give in with nothing substantial to show. That’s how you really stick it to ‘em.

And for no reason other than all the deep pockets probably calling them threatening cutting off funding. They’re not our representatives, they’re the representatives of corporations and billionaires.

I can’t help but feel it’s the $ from airline corporations doing the talking now.

I guess it was bound to happen that the senators cramming their gullets at the corporate trough would fold once the shutdown was affecting corporations like airlines and not just people trying to put food on the table.
