I have a ball of grape vines with untreated wool in it that I put out in the spring. The birds and squirrels love it.

Inspired by @raskog.bsky.social making homemade stock, I made lasagna soup for dinner tonight. #soup
A bowl of homemade lasagna soup with a dollop of ricotta cheese and fresh basil on the top. The design on the inside of the bowls is visible, and rather looks like butts. Which is probably why this set was discontinued.

A coworker assigned me a task 2 hours before the end of the work day before my holiday break. I swore so loudly that my sweet, sensitive dog went downstairs to find my spouse. And wouldn't leave his side until he came upstairs to check on me. It's both wonderful and challenging to have a velcro dog

And here's the best pup in the world, after discovering that my throw blanket is heated.

I managed to get the house cleaned and take a shower before anyone got here. I didn't get to eat, but that's okay because we'll have an excessive amount of cheese. The pup is relieved that I'm finally done.

It's been a weird foliage season. Usually this tree is a riot of reds and oranges. This year it had a few red patches but most stayed green. Now the green leaves are turning yellow-brown and dropping fast.
