But I know how awkward and cringy they are. I told a friend the other day that I tell him I love him all the time because I don't have the vocabulary or ability to express it in any other way, but those words cannot adequately express my genuine feelings for a person. 6/

But you can't really blame me. I grew up believing standing outside someone's bedroom window with a giant radio blasting music was a totally acceptable way of telling someone you liked them. 80's teen movies were all about the grand gesture, and I listened and took notes. 4/
