On this trip I take time to see more of Lyon, first at lunchtime with Philippe Lambert, and again this morning as I walked over to Place des Jacobins to buy a flag of the city. The sky is gray, but the air is pleasant, and the mighty Rhône flows evenly. (6 May 1998)

InfoMedia is now reduced to a small company at the edge of failure, an agony. My awareness of it swings from despair to hope because we are expecting a $400000 contract in July but HP has decided not to go through with an acquisition for reasons of their own internal politics this time.
