Challenge completed with ride number seven. I went somewhere else first but they are closed on Tuesdays so I ended up at Bagel City.
No dogs, so my theme-within-a-theme didn't work out.
I'm happy that the inaugural group here on Mastodon got some […]

Hey Coffeeneuring friends, are you also on Facebook and the coffeeneuring group? Just curious. (I deleted FB, IG, and X but I also have a Bluesky account.)

For my bike friends. I wrote this story about my very first century ride back in my college days (for better or worse 😂), 1986. (This link is my new blog platform; I just transferred it today because it's raining and I chose not to ride.)

I hope it brings back memories […]

Number five in the books. In keeping with my #coffeedog theme, here's a photo of Pretzel. She's not a coffee shop dog, but I see here on my bike route frequently. I've tried, and her owners have tried, but she just doesn't like me.

I explained to […]

After @katieporteroc.bsky.social called out Sean Duffy for letting private flights fly while canceling commercial flights, WSJ reports some private flights will be canceled for as long as shutdown lasts (which could be a week, even if the House approves this deal).

Please enjoy the photo of Maple the retired K-9 in a beekeeping suit. #dogs
She is using her sniffing superpowers to detect bacteria in beehives, and looking mighty stylish in the process.

My local @indivisibleteam has done great work on #teslatakedown - impressive here where every street has many Tesla owners.

Hey GIS mapping friends. I was a StoryMaps user for years for blogs, but the platform went away and I can't migrate to ArcGIS because I use a Chromebook (it's all I need).

BTW, everything I ever wrote has been deleted.
