May 31st, marks Romania's #Overshoot Day - the point at which the country has used up its share of Earth’s natural resources for the year, if everyone on the planet lived like the average resident in Romania.

If you thought the U.S. reaching overshoot on March 13 was alarming, eight more countries have since joined the ranks of top overshooters. Leading the list is Oman, followed by the UAE, Denmark, Australia, Canada, Belgium, Lithuania, and Austria.
