That thing where the CD player would just spin with the disc inside going faster and slower without actually playing music and you'd wait to see if it would stop and when it wouldn't you'd open the cover and hope that scratching sound wasn't actually scratching the CD.

4 years have gone by and I'm wondering how many other people have thought back to that cable installer story and thought *maybe* its anecdotes were too perfectly crafted.
