Paul's Botique, Beastie Boys. i think thats all i need to say, but it's the perfect showcase of what they not only were capable of but truly what they wanted their future to sound like. it rules so hard, and B-Boy Bouillabaise is such a good track (split up in album releases tho)

this is another cheat, since this technically was not a real album (or at least has not existed for 20 years) - the Soundtrack for Jet Set Radio Future! this game is my favorite of all time and the music has influenced my taste so much. i would kill for Hideki Naganuma

probably my fave album of all time just period, Car Seat Headrest's Twin Fantasy (specifically the 2018 remaster, though Mirror to Mirror still rules). just good shit that is deeply relatable and profound in unexpected ways!

im cheating right off the bat: Outer Wilds soundtracks are amazing, and the Echoes of the Eye Lost Reels adds 6 tracks that have made me so emotional so many times. i will frequently listen to both of these albums back to back, this game means a fuck ton to me

I KNEW that name was familiar, and honestly this is the best pivot from a mobile game to a fully-fledged video game i've seen in a long time. it's very compelling and the survival aspect is very good. i'm excited!
