We did a presale with B&N on June release. Then we found B&N won't let publisher order books while it is in pre-sale. Had to pull it off presale to place the order to get books in time. Customer service was a pain in the ass. The release went fine despite B&N. We quit listing paperbacks with B&N.

Book Buyers: Do not buy NEW books unless they say they are shipped from Amazon. If you read all the reviews of the All-Time Fast account you will see that many people did not receive their books & some said they received knock-offs. 💙📚 If this happens to you don't just review; complain to Amazon.

were being diverted. We removed it from the series and added our listing back on the series. We also sent them a cease and desist notice and they removed our book. They may be doing this to your book. Check your series & make sure the correct listings are link. Complain to Amazon if they are not. ->

Actually that has been a standard practice of bookstores for a long time. It is ridiculous. Publishers, especially small publishers, are pushing back with "no return" policies which require the stores to be responsible for what they order.

Publishers have little control over it either. They make the books available through distributors. It is up to the book stores to place the order. If you want a particular book to be available in a particular store, call the store and ask for it.

Rather than exclude it from genres based on cross-over elements you should include it in all the genres within which it could fit. Genre boundaries are flexible. No one person sets the boundaries.
