The High Representative for EU Foreign Affairs and Security Policy thinking China and Russia weren't part of the Allied Powers in WWII is wild. 🫠

Knowing history is so important... Did she think Japan and Germany won??

Okay... I didn't appreciate the Browser Company's handling of certain things via Arc, but Dia skills are incredible.

In the right hands, AI is for sure an amazing enabler for education.

I'm pretty sure buy-now, pay-later schemes currently generate profit only because consumers only see the no interest rate payments and don't realize they still pay a flat percentage fee.

Fascism encourages you to think it’s a spectator sport and when it’s too late you realize you’re also on the playing field and always have been.
this dc situation looks pretty horrible. i wish i had more to say except that autocracy is always mundane and petty and vicious and encourages you to look away and be safe. and you can live quite normally under it until you're a direct target

I came across a brilliant quote today.

"老天爷赏饭吃的时候,一定要在最短时间内把盘子都舔干净"

Which translates literally to "When God bestows food, it's essential to lick the plate clean in the shortest amount of time"

More figuratively, "when there's an opportunity or winning strategy, maximize the hell out of it."

One reason East Asian web design is so different is because of the character-based languages that convey dense information per character while standardizing character lengths.

With the advent of Romanized borrowed words, that's no longer the case.

More than anything I love when an author writes fanfic to continue their own work's world because they too love the Story.

After hearing that Ferrero was acquiring Kellogg, I was confused. How big was Ferrero?

Turns out, besides Ferrero Rocher, it also owns Nutella, Tic Tacs, and Kinder (of Kinder Eggs fame).

I knew there would be collaboration synergy for this M&A but wow it makes sense.

UX and UI will be geared more towards "last-mile" CUJs while products will need to focus on capabilities that can be delivered via agent integrations.

Product as we know it is going to shift wildly in the next ten years.

With all the delegation we'll be doing because of AI, I think leadership skills will be drastically higher in future generations 👀
There's a shift actively happening where humans aren't the only ones using your tools. They might be guiding a tool to use your tool.

Developer tools, libraries, utilities, APIs, and more have to now consider a new "audience" in terms of both growth and experience 👀
