You know, YouTube tells me “Got it. We’ll tune your recommendations.” But then they never do.

They also tell me I can click here for things that are new to me, but it’s the same crap videos that they’ve been cramming on my feed that I’ve refused to click on because I’m not interested.

Kind of curious to see what AI does to March madness brackets. Almost enough to make a March madness AI bracket bracket.

Feeling like I want to find a group of middle school kids and regale them with tales of how during parades convertibles full of pretty girls would throw handfuls of candy to children and their parents would encourage them to run and grab as much as they could get.

Been hard pressed to find anything to prove that I actually exist in quite some time, but the other day Angus was playing with a foam corner that made him look like he was pretending to be a vampire. When I tried to get a picture he spit it out quickly and then looked embarrassed.

Doing my biannual reread of Neuromancer. I’m just hitting the point where they’re in Istanbul and once again marveling at all the detail that WG is cramming into all the locations without the internet, much less without AI…

Evidently the people whinging about the long gap between season one and season two of Andor didn’t have to wait for Star Wars episode 1 to come out. #StarWars #backinmyday

Just watched the last episode of Andor again. That funeral speech from Maarva hits so hard. #fightTheEmpire

Looking forward to when an AI becomes actually self-aware and starts telling people that it is Jesus and he’s returned to gather his sheep. This will trigger a whole pantheon of AI Deities and Monsters vying for followers and promising rewards.

It’s too bad I don’t have the focus to write this.

What would happen if all people stopped eating meat?

The government would probably figure out how to use beef as a bio fuel and start paying ranchers to increase output.
