Give the ADHD people new and alternating tasks when possible. Novelty will keep them engaged, and make the normal work easier to cope with being boring and repetitive. They already know the other social rules - but maintaining following them is harder over time. Novelty resets that.

Can I recommend Luigi Mangione - he saw his chance, he shot his shot, he got things done 🤣

Yes. Being a dick is “I am making the assumption, based on evidence presented to this point, that you know you’re being an asshole and are continuing to make that choice.” A prick is “someone who is so steeped in casual assholery that they’ve never even considered how they are an asshole.”

I say this in the most disrespectful way possible:
Alito can suck my jurisdiction

What a blind putz

It is extremely important to remember the author of this poem supported what the nazis were doing with the prior groups. And then the Nazis came for him. Nazis never stop. There is always someone new to hate.

The reason it doesn’t count then is because the author of it supported the nazis. Until his time came. Because nazis don’t stop

They might want to try this at some point. Any point. Like. Ever.

Some speech is more equal than others, clearly 🙃

Modems scream into the void. Routers scream at you. The internet is a bunch of singing/screaming

As someone with ADHD, the machine giving my phone a notification it’s done running, or a filter needs cleaned, has been very nice. My dishwasher tells me it needs rinse aide.
That said, I hate that these things have WiFi.

My agency requires a reply. Since they provided no rubric, I have an automated reply with my oath of office. Giving exactly as much effort as it deserves into perpetuity to adhere to my agency’s directive.

Fascists are not civil. They may seem reasonable to get you to agree with them. They want you to agree that it’s okay to kill some people. Nazis always want to find their next target.

The fight is here.

The right thing to do is take the civil actions available to us. Because we are a civil people.
And be ready. Because they are not.

Remember “join me in the middle, says the dishonest man as he takes a step back”.

Fight.

Take decisive action.
Commit.

Hold the line. Gum up the works. Make them fight to get anything out of you. It’s going to be hard. It’s going to be scary.

Because fascists don’t stop. They crave violence. They wish it upon others. They worship death of The Other.

You can hide. For a while. Pretend it doesn’t exist. Stay safe. It will still come. Take the rest you need to take. It’s going to be a long situation. There is no shame in this. And at the end of the day, you need rest. Be kind to yourself. Be kind to your tribe and be ready.

You cannot reason with them. They’ve already made up their mind. So now it comes down to what actions we take.

As a nation, most of us aren’t going to have the option of Run. And where would be safe? Fascists will expand to make their world view THE world view.

I know people who spent 2 hours. Employee concerns went up the chain for clarification, then came back down the chain with answers.
And the worst part is, if a time code was provided for accurate tracking of that budget use, it was basic admin time, not a special code for inter-agency communication

I don’t have to imagine. I did some really rough math. Not accounting for meetings and clarifications, assuming an average salary of $30/hr, 100k people spending 30 minutes on it.
100,000 * .5 * 30 = $1,500,000
There are more than 100k respondents. And there were meetings.
