Two turkeys in the Fox booth. I’d rather listen to the carved bird than Smoltz.

Finally got to turn on playoff baseball and dear God it’s Red Sox/Yankees.

I hope they tie and then get hit by a meteor.

Just saw “Krypto” but I was informed that there was a whole other movie happening about a man who wears his underpants wrong.

Just watched the last season of Handmaid’s Tale and everyone is reunited with their babies but I’ll never get reunited with my Cathleen so now I’m bawling and I can’t stop and don’t really want to.

If I had a dollar for every time I saw the April 25th thing from Miss Congeniality today, Id have enough money to buy a light jacket.

It’s that first-show-of-the-15-hour-day-with-a-show-tonight-and-a-rehearsal-in-between-after-a-14-hour-day-yesterday kind of day.

Everything is terrible and isn’t getting better but at least we have The Dude.

I grew up with the Washington Post. My dad instilled in me the importance of local journalism. He would read the paper with me and I developed my worldview and way to form opinions.

Canceling the Post today felt like losing part of my childhood and a connection to my dad.

So fuck you, Bezos.

When my dad died in December, he had not quite finished this book. And Steve Coll was one of his favorite writers

To honor that fandom, and to honor my dad, I’m starting this today so it can be finished by a Rudgers.

I just realized something. I just realized it because I’m so tired and grouchy.

There is so much discord and strife right now. I am scared for our country and the future of my children.

But once in a while a question distracts us and must be answered:

WHO WAS THE ONE PERSON WHO KEPT ICHIRO OFF HIS HALL OF FAME BALLOT? AND WHY SHOULD HE KEEP HIS VOTE?

You. Have. Got. To. Be. Kidding. Me.

I grew up cheering a Washington football team that was dominant. I was 21 when they last made it this far.

Now I’m 55 and after being apathetic about a team owned by an evil elf, I’m a fan again.
