So the argument is apparently a logical one based on league position. So the logical replacement would not be Frank or Silva, but Nuno who has out performed the other managers not only with Forest but also previously with Wolves. But wait...

Most goals/good play will come from early passes & one & two touch play. But this maybe to create a 1 on 1 for your star player/dribbler to do his bit in the the final third.Yes there are players that drive foward with the ball from deep but only in certain situations. Most play needs to be 1&2 touch

1st game back after months, just look at the difference a senior player like him makes.i think it's important to have youth in the team / squad but you need the strength & experience of senior players running through the side. Gray will look across at VDV a feel 10x more confident

I've been saying this too.We just want him to show the same ambition with the team as he did with stadium.I don't mind signing young players or looking for value in the market, but do it with ambition and make sure we have enough depth. The budget is always rigid, no flexibility & we r always short😡

The last 4 managers including Ange, whatever you think of them, have all been top of the league at some point with more than 10 games played. A few injuries and we start to struggle. The board are always rigid with the budget, instead getting the players we need and showing some ambition 😡

Another clean sheet!

Absolutely agree - it's going to be huge test for those youngsters in such an important area. Newcastle have big quality and physicality in there. Deki will be important as the most experienced in midfield.

The biggest problem with Foster is his mobility -his passing has been not too bad apart from Utd. He can't sweep up like Vicario, so the distance behind us is larger. If the defence drop some yards to compensate, it also means our press isn't as effective and good sides just play through us.

Agreed we have to pass it better. But the difference between the way we pass under Ange then under Conte, Jose or Nuno is night and day and they are good managers. That's without looking at any stats, but I'd imagine we are way better under Ange. Injuries fatigue and inexprience factors atm.

He's going have to play the youngsters more because of injuries, which is great regardless of results. It will be harder for them because we are struggling a bit but they will benefit as will the team eventually. Most fans haven't got the patience, which is understandable. Pleased for Gray/Bergvall

I agree with this. But also when we don't play well we give the ball away cheaply too often, which means more effort trying to get it back. The best teams play with same intensity as us, but don't give it away so often. Bissouma one of the main culprits yesterday.

We have struggled around the same time of year for multiple seasons & chosen to do the rebuild over multiple windows and with young players. It's going to be painful. Understand why patience is short as every year we are short on depth. That's down to the clubs rigid structure / lack of ambition
