Durre Shahwar is a writer and researcher with a PhD in autofiction and Pakistani-Welsh identity from Cardiff University. She was shortlisted and highly commended for the Morley Lit Prize. Durre is the co-editor of Gathering: Women of Colour on Nature (404 INK). She was the recipient of a Future Wales Fellowship. Her work uses decolonised creative methodologies to tell marginalised narratives and has been published in Poetry Wales, Wasafiri Magazine, and elsewhere. Joe Dunthorne is the author of three novels and a collection of poems. His debut novel, Submarine, was translated into fifteen languages and made into an award-winning film. His latest book, Children of Radium - a memoir about family and chemical weapons - will be published in April 2025. Joshua Jones (he/him) is a queer, neurodivergent writer & artist from Llanelli, south Wales. His debut, Local Fires, was shortlisted for the Dylan Thomas Prize & Polari First Book Prize. His poetry pamphlets include A Fistful of Flowers in (2022), Three Months in the Zebra Room (Hello America Stereo Cassette, 2024), and The City on Film (Bread and Roses, 2024). Sophie Mackintosh is the author of three novels: The Water Cure, Blue Ticket and Cursed Bread. Her debut novel was longlisted for the Man Booker Prize 2018 and won a Betty Trask Award 2019. Cursed Bread was longlisted for the Women's Prize 2023. She has been published in Granta, The White Review and TANK magazine among others.
