Today's URI poll asked respondents what media source they would get politics and elections news from. WPRI takes it locally and ties with Fox News for highest overall at 13%. WPRO and ProJo are both decimals, Globe at 1%.

There's only a few weeks left in the legislative session and only four bills introduced that address the rising cost of groceries! If we want RI to take action on affordable groceries, we need to pass the Fair Price Grocery Agenda.

My grandmother had a print of this Maxwell Mays painting and I was obsessed with it as a kid. I thought it was the coolest place on Earth. Absolutely blew my mind to learn years later that was Providence all along.

Realizing to my great chagrin, that I've slowly grown into one of those West Wing, Parks & Rec types who believes good policy can trump big money - but I'm proud to be on a team that's developing thoughtful policy and elevating the issues that will define life in Rhode Island in the coming years.

Today begins a KSU course I'm taking on preserving rural groceries!
Indie grocers are getting crushed around the country, starting with rural communities. For RI to protect our food systems, we need to learn from those already in the fight.
Superstores plan nationally & act locally—so should we.
