Woo been over a year since I've posted here! If you're not in my Discord server; I unexpectedly applied for college late last year, got accepted, and am just about to complete my first year with honors. 2024 has been busy! I'm in the process of playing catchup on my queue, so lots of new stuff soon!

At first, I understood the necessity of staying on twitter for a lot of artists doing business, but the time to leave is now.
It's impossible to escape your work being scraped at some point, but you at least don't have to be complicit. Change doesn't happen easily, show that you have a backbone.

It might hurt my bottom line, but I’m probably going to stop posting art to Twitter entirely and I suggest you do too.
Not only is the site actively putting a “Okay, now remix this” button below art (and elevating them above the OP with a QRT) and it’s false flagging original art as made by AI.

I got this piece done tonight for Howl and I'm still vibrating about it lmao, a VERY fun piece of Aurum having her own take on a GLORIOUS EVOLUTION (I don't have Arcane brainrot YOU do) coming in at 9 hours total. I could not be happier with how it came out. PS you should watch Arcane.

i think one of the most helpful things you can do actually is contribute $1-3 to someone consistently, every month, for years on end. i LOVE getting a $30 patron, believe me, but most people can't do that forever, and it does feel like a blow when they suddenly cancel (even though i get it) haha
Honestly the bare-bones Literally Nothing tier on a given artist's support platform might be the most powerful tier in how much it can help with how little of your money.
