It was against TOS by the way.

What if I like everything about her, and I just can't stand the music? Can I transcend?

Also, especially late game it was either "parry everything or die". Maybe the build I was following just sucks, but I got oneshot by everything basically. I feel there could have been a system where you can take a couple of hits.

HOWEVER, I really didn't like Act 3. I never knew where to go. There was just "do the friendship quests or go end the game". Exploring was painful, you either wandered into a region with one kinda easy chromatic thing, or got obliterated by some random monster on the continent.

I'm also a complete sucker for slowly unraveling stories. There's no "aha" moment, where you get an exposition dump and you know everything. You piece it together bit by bit, and you slowly realize the evil you thought you were fighting acts completely reasonable from their point of view.

I *loved* how there was no boring good guy/bad guy trope. Every character had personality and reasonable motivations. There were no right or wrong answers, just deeply personal conflict where everyone was doing the right thing, from his or her perspective.

Yeah, I'm kinda mad again. Anyway, have a good night.
May 21, 2025 at 6:19 PM
Well maybe they would. But still, LOST was about the fucking mystery, the Island, the numbers, the others, Dharma, Walt and the Monster. How DARE you start writing a show with a million questions and not bother having any answers, stringing people along without ever planning on clearing it up?
May 21, 2025 at 6:19 PM
And then they were babbling about "it was all about the characters and their journey and their relationships", like, fuck you. It was a mystery show with compelling characters, yes. But the mystery was the whole point. Nobody would watch the show with a dozen neurotic assholes with daddy issues.
May 21, 2025 at 6:19 PM
They just made up some random ass numbers that sounded cool and thought the fans would just kinda forget about it. And they waited until the last few episodes iirc to tell everyone, "yeah no, we won't resolve anything really. We.. uuh.. don't have enough time".
What the fuck man
May 21, 2025 at 6:12 PM
What could it all mean? Lets keep watching and find out, I'm sure the writers will eventually explain everything. YEAH NO, they didn't. The numbers never got a real in-series explanation, BECAUSE THERE WAS NONE.
May 21, 2025 at 6:12 PM
Actually, I'm getting mad just thinking about this again lol. Calm down man, it's been decades...

REMEMBER when the fucking hatch opened and season 1 would end on a massive cliffhanger, and then season 2 there were these numbers and some guy just doing things he didn't understand, oooohhh....
May 21, 2025 at 6:12 PM
I wanted, nay, NEEDED this thing to have an overarching conclusion, something that suddently would make everthing click into place. Characters with reasonable motivations and a mystery uncovered.
May 21, 2025 at 6:06 PM
When it turned out there never was a plan and they just made shit up as they went along, I was super-duper mad and haven't re-watched anything until this day.
May 21, 2025 at 6:04 PM
I'm fine now, but the last season really made me hate the show for years. I was a die-hard, spent hours every week in forums, speculating about what it all means, trying to uncover the big puzzle behind it all with the crumbs the writers left for us.

I'm happy for you. I have a soft spot in my heart for "real" indies, and you've been doing it for so long with such a passion, with a genre that isn't easy to pull of well and market..
Glad to see you succeed ❤️
