Using this platform to document our sailing adventures. The boat is a 1990 CS34 that we spend as much time as possible on. Lived aboard full time and sailed to the Bahamas and back.
We have a weather window! The wind is dying down and shifted to a favourable North direction. Debating on the exact time to leave we decide on an overnight passage to arrive at first light. (Foreshadow, we didn't trust our own judgement and listened to the wrong people)

With the nasty weather we moved to a more isolated spot to ride out the storm. We were happy we did! That night, winds picked up and the VHF radio was active with people calling for help with other boats dragging into each other. One boat ended up washed up on the beach.
