Writer. I removed my old stories from Reddit, but when I have a new home for it, I'll link it here.
Watching Elimination Chamber. The Candians shitting on the US's national anthem was hilarious. We're off to a good start.

First the reboot trend comes for Dexter, now for Buffy as well. Hell yeah.

Just now reckoning with how similar my unfinished story "The Otherside" is to Alan Wake 2.

-a story about a small town linked to a dark alternate reality
-the main character has an evil double
-a shadowy government organization shows up to help, their field HQ at the sheriff's station

Goddammit.

I'm not a violent person by nature, but every time I try to save a picture and see that it's a WebP file I want to put the person who made that filetype into a trebuchet and launch them into a brick wall.

Finally wrapped up Alan Wake 2. While I'm not a fan of survival horror gameplay, I'm a big fan of the story. Just like Control, AW2 is a wildly creative, bizarre and fascinating game, and I can't wait to see what's next for Wake and Saga.

Looks like Control 2 is next, though, and I'm stoked for it.

I'm gonna give WoW Hardcore a whirl. Nothing crazy, just one try per class in an attempt to hit level 60. When they die, they're gone for good, and I move on to another class.

All solo, too. Just doing quests and minding my business.

Starting with a Human Warrior- Headsman

Just saw the trailer for The Blood of Dawnwalker and I'm sold already. Sounds like it'll scratch the same itch as Vampyr, as the website says the player will "Fight for your humanity or embrace the cursed powers to save your family."

AND a Witcher 3 director is behind it. I'm pumped.

2025 book 1: Carrie, by Stephen King

Highly recommend. Highlights are the characters and the entire third act of the story. The lowlight is that the novel needlessly spoils upcoming character deaths, including two major deaths spoiled before the halfway point of the book.
I have a massive backlog of books to read, so I'm going to try and read at least one book a week.

I'll post reviews for them. No scores, just my opinions and whether I'd recommend them or not.

A lot of them are random books I found thrifting, so it'll be all over the place, I'm sure. Could be fun.

Sincerely hoping the tiktok ban isn't enforced because the algorithm just learned I like pro wrestling and the fyp is popping off right now.

Strange Scream 7 news today. So Sidney Prescott has a husband named Mark- as established in Scream 5- but now it's not Kincaid from Scream 3? It's an entirely new character who just happens to also be named Mark? Okay.

Well, I am a fan of Joel McHale, and at least Jasmin Savoy Brown is coming back.

Been having a lot of trouble reckoning with the Neil Gaiman allegations.

Even if you believed his narrative- that he had 'consensual' relations with these women- two of them were his employees. He knowingly took advantage of a massive power imbalance and tried to cover it up with hush money.

Tried Skittles Littles for the first time and they are, in fact, little Skittles.

I've been conflicted about Scream 7, but happy to see that Isabel May is playing one of Sidney's children. I could absolutely see the franchise centering around her in the future.

May was phenomenal in 1883, and I'm sure she'll kill it in Scream. Pun intended.

Hopefully this place won't become a hellscape like Twitter did. Happy to give it a chance.

In the meantime, for introductions: hi, I'm Poe. I've been writing scary stories and posting them online since 2018. Currently considering where to repost after removing them from Reddit.
