to be fair some speedrun stuff involves a somewhat similar grip (clawgrip) but not like. not like that.

Yeah, it's just crazy to see the run of these two still going. We're experiencing living legends.

The last season of MVPs not to have at least one of Judge or Ohtani is 2020 (or 2019 for full seasons). That's insane to think about, and now that they're in different leagues, it's hard not to think it's theirs to lose for the next several seasons to come.

... but I really wanted Raleigh just because of the sheer amount of homers for his unique set of skills (most ever by both a switch hitter and catcher, the latter a 12 HR improvement!). Sabermetrically though, Judge 1000% earned it.

I'm just bored that the three awards that can actually have repeat winners (imagine somehow winning RotY twice though lmao) had repeat winners this year five of six times... and that exception is Paul Skenes who might repeat with ease. Statistically, I absolutely understand the Judge argument...

I've literally been speedrunning this game for 12 years now it's not that bad.

UPDATE: feeling a decent bit better, but still need some time away. Hoping by Friday afternoon I feel fully like myself, might even do that FGC stream that evening if I have the energy for it.
