Not controversial—just honest.

So many of us slip through the cracks because evaluations are siloed.

ADHD and autism overlap in ways that deserve real nuance, not checkbox diagnosis.

As a dad with ADHD, that hero is my spirit guide.

Social battery hits 2% and I’m scanning for exits—just waiting for someone to say it first.

Respect to the brave soul who sets us all free.

ADHD + introvert combo means I wanted to hang out… until it was actually time to get ready 😅

Staying in feels like self-care and victory.

It’s simple.
But doing nothing on purpose—every day—can change how you run your life.

Try it for yourself and see the difference from day one.

Over the next few days, I’ll share a few easy ways I find “thought processing” time in my day.

4. I build trust in myself.
When I stop jumping into every thought
when I start spending my time more wisely
I feel more in control and get more done.

And that’s a big fucking win for an ADHD brain.

3. I make better decisions.
Not just based on emotion or impulse—but on what moves me toward my actual goals.

The real highest priority, highest leverage tasks.

2. I get better at deciding what’s actually worth my time.
ADHD makes everything feel urgent.
This helps me slow down and prioritize what really matters.

Like deciding to spend the next 10 minutes fully present with my kids.

1. I learn to control my impulsive urges.
Instead of reacting to every thought, I start to observe them.
That pause makes a huge difference.

Much less time wasted going down useless internet rabbit holes.

That looks very cool! I'm always hesitant to jump into new tools. Wasted too much time on shiny new things haha. But I gave you a follow, so you have some opportunities to convince me to jump on board.

You should not stop overthinking, but definitely try to process thoughts into an action you can take. I've learned to let my mind go wild and try to keep my actions under control until I've prioritized the next action to take. Otherwise my life spirals outs of control. I'll work on the wrong shit.

Posts like this remind me why safe corners of the internet matter.
Not everything can be solved with a tip or a hack.
Sometimes we just need to feel seen.
