Of course, my post was written before the election results, and I was responding to false news reports based on false surveys that predicted a MAGA win in NJ. But my fears were unjustified. The Blue-State voters are not dumb enough to elect any MAGAite.

The leadership's brand is toxic. They may be excellent legislative mechanics, but how often does a company put its mechanic out front as its representative? Schumer has nothing to say, and Jeffries thinks he must mimic a preacher. Turnoffs. Dems need serious, brilliant people to lead us home.

It is not just this; Schumer is befuddled by MAGA. He must be Bidenized and replaced with a spokesperson-leader who is bold, entertaining, and able to attract and keep eyeballs as the Democrat's message is delivered and sold.
