Celebrated my 50th birthday. 🎉 I got a new knitting pattern, stick markers, handmade notion bag and yarn hugger, an eau de parfum Thank U Next that smells of fruit, coconut, and macaroons and a cute faerie house for my window garden that lights up!!

I ordered a Book Nook for my book shelf. I am hoping to find a couple Agatha Christie novels to go with the one Sherlock Holmes book I have to go next it on my book case. The kit come with 26 pages of instructions and I have completed 6. It’s very fun.

Picked up my lovely crochet project from a couple weeks ago. I have done another round of 5 rows of Jen’s, from @fiberflux, Currant Jam Crochet Scarf. The @knit_picks worsted Chroma is so fun for this project.

knit_picks Chroma Worsted Ferris Wheel is absolutely gorgeous I purchased this maybe sometime 2018 to 2020. 🤷🏽♀️ I have 3 balls of this coló way. I will make a scarf and hat. This pattern is @fiberflux Quick & Easy Arcade Stitch (Currant Jam Crochet Scarf) #crochet

Wonderful Sunday. I finished the matching cowl for the slouch hat I crocheted last weekend. My mister and I baked a wonderful Chicken’n Biscuit casserole that I messed up by putting the vegetables in the biscuit mix.

I spent most my day relaxing and resting. It was a difficult week for me. My husband surprised to day with a pair of 3D printed Walnut Paper Lanterns for Chinese Lunar New Year. He’s so sweet! #HappyChineseLunarNewYear

Japanese Takoyaki but made with Crab instead of Octopus. Served with Sriracha sauce from Thailand and Mexican Guacamole. How about that for food fusion!

A slouchy hat made customized by me!
Hat 3 for 2025 done! I made this with the Fiber Flux pattern for Autumn Symphony shawl/wrap. I just made it long enough to fit loosely around my head and wide enough to be a slouchy hat. Then I cinch closed one end and made a brim with a technique I learned in the last hat I made.

Bad Memory Eraser 2024 KDrama. Kim Jaejoong (formally of TVXQ) stars as the main lead in this drama. I have been a fan since his debut and it was refreshing to see him acting. The story is dramatic but also in the mix is intrigue and murder. I really enjoyed the story! #kdrama

Feeling pretty smug at having improved the pattern design and the joins are nearly invisible; especially since the yarn is variegated. My darling husband printed a large yarn bowl. It is such a loving gift since this is his hobby. I had found the design on YouTube and casually mentioned it. #crochet

Spent half hour of hard work cleaning up defrosted dog waste from the last 4 months. The weather in Alaska has been unusually warm. I took the opportunity to use the energy I had to clean up as much as I could. Tomorrow, I will continue if the weather permits. These boys are too sweet! #dachshunds
