The fact that Lucasfilm Games entrusted it to the makers of the most recent ‘Wolfenstein’ games was a wise decision. You can see the DNA of that game and ‘Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay’ in Indy. It’s absolutely worth playing and probably worth watching someone play!

14 years is a hell of a time to focus pull. Still hanging on by my fingernails for ten years myself.

4/4: The Bionicle Mata Nui Online game. This ancient flash game from 2001 redefined what I thought I could play on a web browser. Yes, it was made to promote a Lego toy line but the visuals and music completely blew me away when I was younger.

3/4: Catadioptric lenses. I learned that these lenses existed a few years ago and I’ve always wanted to know how a lens that has both mirrors and lenses in it works. How does it fit 1000mm into a small lens and how on earth do you not see the middle of it in the image?

2/4: The sodium vapor (vapour?) process. This is how they got those amazing VFX mattes in ‘Mary Poppins’ and we’ve all seen that Corridor Crew video but there’s so much more I want to know? How did they track them in camera? Why is it a legend that we somehow can’t make another prism?

Watched this live and was in the edge of my seat!
