As requested, a view of my custom-built lightsaber from Savi’s Workshop on Batuu (aka Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios). I went with the “Protection and Defense” theme, with a blue blade. Crafting mine alongside @ckat.bsky.social was a truly magical experience. :-)
A metal lightsaber hilt, primarily silver-colored with brass accents. It has a prominent angled blade guard and a d-ring belt attachment. The vibe is almost medieval.

A large group of folks marching along 14th street in the District of Columbia, with fenced-off supportive onlookers filling the sidewalks. With the exception of the pony (me) mid-frame in full-body black tack (save for my hood's ice blue mane), the rest of the group members are generally shirtless and dressed in a variety of colorful mostly-neoprene pup hoods and chest harnesses. A number of different pride flags (Intersex Progress, Pup Play, Trans, etc.) of varying sizes are also visible. Many pups are waving or showing peace signs; the pony has a forehoof raised in friendly greeting. The mood is celebratory and joyful. :-)

It’s a fucking rager of an outdoors party. Well, festival. A number of Amazon women in variations of Classical Greek attire mixed with superhero-esque spandex are dancing around a large fire pit. In the foreground, two women are tied by their ankles upside down to a huge frame (like a swingset), as another two bedeck them with makeup and dress them in deer outfits. One woman, already in her deer suit, is tied up on the ground. Poor rigging notwithstanding, it looks like a hell of a lot of fun. :-)

There is a technical term for this: absolute bullshit. It's a form of enshittification that will forever anger me. The web has never been perfect – far from it – but once upon a time, for a brief, shining moment, it was so much better than this.
A window from the NoScript extension running in my browser, showing no fewer than 25 different external sites required for the primary site to function. A good number of them are purely ads, analytics, and tracking, but even setting that shite aside, the fact it's so reliant on other infrastructure – like so many other sites these days – renders the whole web less robust. It pisses me off.

A modified hard non-molded guitar case full of a variety of spanking canes: straight, crook-handled, custom-made, pervertible, rattan, synthetic, all lengths and diameters… it’s not a bad collection, though I say it myself. A bio-equestrian whip holder is also in there, as it helps with organizing when I do have my crops and whips mixed in. The bamboo rod is there as an example of what *not* to use unless you’re going relatively lightly; rattan for the win. Best reed, hands (and trousers) down. There’s also a much-depleted bundle of birch rods that I really need to replenish.
