Very happy to see someone else choosing ballpoint pen as a sketch medium. It's my choice too, as I really enjoy the discipline of having to think first before throwing down lines. I often get questioned why, and the simple reason is it forces me to think first, and roll with it.

I think it's because everyone I grew up with shared their opinion like it was fact rather than opinion, and I thought it was just a better option to never engage.

I deeply enjoy being the Harmony Gandalf, if you can't already tell.

Yeah. Much like many Harmony features, It's actually useful when used for MINOR things, but if you try to use it on a whole character, you end up making things worse.
Example; Whole ortho-locked character looks like a flat sprite in a 3D room like in DOOM. Where their feet slide around the floor

Ortho-lock is a node that automatically locks whatever it's attached to, to the camera. So that it will face the camera.

I've actually used the words "even the Ortho-lock node will not help you here" 🥲

Yeah there's no point in arguing with someone who has already drank so much of the koolaid. They act like they've been given a super power when in reality it's clearly something that does the art equivalent of tieing your shoes for you. And not even a good job of it either.

I think that's the key draw for these people who pay for AI images.

1- the AI will never say "that's a stupid idea"
2- the AI will never unionize and demand fair wages

I suppose up until the point AI decides it doesn't need us anymore. I swear the AI developers... 🤬

Sure. I was with Nelvana since 2001. It was an extremely rewarding experience. They were Canada's largest animation studio and their closure was a major loss for the animation industry in North America. Studios are unable to pay a fair wage to animators and are closing at an alarming rate.

I 100% endorse the idea of just simply boycotting Coke products because of this kind of refuse. Let them know you disapprove of their advertisement practises by voting with your wallet, and letting them KNOW you're doing it.
