Its complicated though, because when I've worked in retail the worst feeling in the world was a customer coming over and asking me to do something. So on a very human level I know the correct move is to not bother anyone at work.

Both you and @stephenhilger.bsky.social have said you do this with RPGs and it blows my mind. Like, if I stop playing a game for a week it doesn't matter how far in I am I *must* restart because I won't be able to function at all 😂

Gotta be honest sounds like the game wasn't done anyway. I know this is how every single game works now, but it really would be better if y'all waited until the game was finished to release it rather than rely on post launch patches.
