The proposed budgets (whether you view them as competitive or not) could be implemented now, irrespective of when/whether the wru begin the process of cutting a region. For me, Tierney’s failure to recognise this was either disingenuous or shortsighted. That’s my complaint.

didn’t like the way cutting a region was pitched as an alternative to giving the clubs competitive budgets. irrespective of how they compare, these are not mutually exclusive options. other than that, thought it was a good showing by Tierney (and excellent work by Lauren Jenkins).
