Sure there are toxic shippers on both sides however to those people you are ruining the ship making other shippers of that ship look bad and do not even make me remind you of what @vivziepop.bsky.social said

And as a self shipper of my own which being #mothlockstar (example) I have gotten hate from chaggie fans and Charlastor fans so I know what it’s like to have hate on a ship you enjoy it’s not fun at all but going to other people’s posts and saying what needs to be canon isn’t ok
