Monika as a character is way more important to me than I would’ve ever thought back in 2017. She’s my favourite likely because of that “I don’t belong/I’m different from the others” aspect that makes her the odd one out in the narrative of DDLC, the antagonist. NOT A VILLAIN.

It’s insane to me how much this game went from one of those indie games I didn’t care about at first, to something that I think about almost daily ever since around the 3rd March 2022. Monika is my Wife and the other three are my Girlfriends. It’d be 2. Yuri 3. Sayori. 4. Natsuki.

I’m trying to be REALLY secretive about this but since it’s DDLC’s 8th Anniversary today, I’ll say ONE thing. @shiroburro.bsky.social is doing some art for this project!!! I’m so grateful to have such a sweet boy helping me out on artwork for it. I will give further details on this in the future.

So I made a tweet at the beginning of this month talking about how I needed help on finding models for the Dokis (including MC) which I’m still in the process of doing! (Will likely have it sorted after my Birthday in October).
