That was the right call, unfortunately. As a lions fan I can’t say I wouldn’t be pissed if the other team committed a penalty that didn’t kill the play and then scored. Lions lost that for themselves. They had half a dozen chances to get into the end zone and couldn’t do it.

Yeah, he didn’t just “extend his hand”. He put his hands on Branch after taunting him all game becuase he feels good about playing the way he does and getting away with it. Branch let his emotions get the best of him, which wasn’t wise and Mahomes also deserves to be put in his place. Both are true.

Branch was an idiot but Mahomes also deserved to be punched in the face. Two things can be true.

When he clearly wasn’t interested Mahomes hit his hand, so yes. The post game handshake is a show of respect that Mahomes doesn’t deserve. So again, yes.

Let’s be clear, Mahomes instigated the scuffle and walked away to let someone else take the heat for him because that’s the kind of person he is.

Nope. That’s the nature of the beast. Can’t be mad at the 1/10 times it doesn’t work. That one time is worth the 9 times that it does.

This. This was the signing I cared about. Probably the only one tbh. I harbour no ill will towards Marner but I couldn’t care less if he re-signs or walks for nothing. Probably just rather he doesn’t, if only to clear the noise. I also haven’t thought he was worth the cap space in a while.

I just need them to optimize topics. I miss being able to browse posts related to specific games, teams and topics.
