Sooo... Will they retire Piastri just because Norris' car broke down in the Netherlands?

It solves the problem of having all that money in your bank account and not knowing what to do with it!

Är den redan nedplockad?

Såklart! Snyggt!

Kan inte komma på vad det är för en bana?
May 9, 2025 at 1:46 PM
Rent generellt är det märkligt att ingen tog lärdomar från en serie som sågs av så många...

Do you have a lap for that quote? But I do believe you.

Still, Lewis finished just a few seconds behind Charles. I'm going to listen through team radio later on, but if Lewis didn't want that place then Lewis is the most expensive second driver ever
March 23, 2025 at 9:32 AM
I haven't seen or heard it on the team radio but could be true. But that is to chase other cars, so at the end of the race they should have swapped them back in that case still. Otherwise it's just preferential treatment

I'm pretty sure that team buidling is beyond the the realm of possibility when you are giving team orders in race 2...
March 23, 2025 at 8:59 AM
For me this is a build up of the spectacle when in race 18 Verstappen takes out both cars when defending, just cause he knows he'll win the championship by doing it. And then we'll look at this replay and realise how tactical/devious he is.

I feel for Lawson. But mostly I just wonder what credentials Helmut has for keeping his job? As an advisor I would really think twice before accepting a deal where he is calling the shots.
March 22, 2025 at 11:37 AM
Yeah, true. But if I remember correctly they got one after inflation/higher rates as well? And technically they are not going to be banned either but just counted in PSR-rules to a certain minimum value.
February 19, 2025 at 4:50 PM
Interesting, what was the deal then?
February 19, 2025 at 4:23 PM
I really don't see how City is chipping away? Sure, they got there first and that helps but now changing from PSR to percentage is alleviating that a bit. Make sound choices a few years in a row and you will be up there. But you can't just buy your way up there anymore.
February 19, 2025 at 4:22 PM
Exactly, ofc human rights abuses etc is a completly different thing. But owners handing free money to clubs is inflating wages no matter the source.
February 19, 2025 at 4:12 PM
From what I've heard salaries are not just flatlining, they will shrink a little bit... That is what makes the Haaland-deal so unique. And it might end up costing City a lot in the long run!
February 19, 2025 at 3:35 PM
These regulations are trying to avoid a world where only oil-state clubs will survive as you have to sustain the wages by real income and not just money from an owner. Arsenal for a while had the 0-interest loans that made them an oil-state club in this regard and now they have to adapt.

Great article, where do you get the post-shot xG for this? I can't seem to find it from their free data...
February 11, 2025 at 1:26 PM
Fantastic as always!
February 3, 2025 at 8:39 PM
I'm assuming so too but I'm thinking that the main counter argument from possession heavy teams is that they will lose possession more often and hence concede more goals.
February 2, 2025 at 3:01 PM
Nice! Any stats on what happens when they lose the ball from throw-ins to the box? Don't know what is appropriate, maybe xG or shots condeded within 60 sec or if you have possession data then what happens within the next opp. possession. Woule be great for convincing coaches.

Haven't seen any recent work on wages as predictor of results, still considered as important?
