My job at #NoKings in Austin yesterday was registering voters and engaging people to volunteer with LWV. Estimated crowd of 30K. We had several orgs registering voters. Our table registered 130. Shout out to the organizers! This was a peaceful event, very well run.

We presented First Vote at Cedar Ridge HS yesterday and today. Go, Raiders! (First Vote is a nonpartisan presentation about the nuts and bolts of voting. It’s Civics 101 but practical and interactive, and with candy!) #Vote #genzvotes #lwv #lwvtexas #lwvwilco

This morning we trained 49 Wilco probation officers in how to talk to the people they serve about voting eligibility. We also set up boxes in the Adult Probation Services department with brochures / reg forms to give out. Good stuff happening locally! #vote @lwvwilco.bsky.social
