I have stumbled across some implicit data conversions that I was unaware of, causing poor performance when querying JSON-relational duality views.

SQL/PGQ is part of the 2023 SQL standard and available in Oracle Database 23ai
Using this you can define graph relationships over your tables
Then use GRAPH_TABLE to search it
