Funny part of the Giannis midrange story is that he’s also getting to the rim at his HIGHEST rate in 6 seasons. He’s averaging the most dunks/game of his career (league-best 4.0) and has upped his share of shots at rim 3 straight years…he’s just swapped 3s for middies now.

After not getting a healthy Giannis in the last two playoffs, tonight was a good reminder that seeing your team win anything is fun.

Nothing will compare to 2021, but seeing the good vibes of the last month paid off with a trophy (and some overdue MVP hype for Giannis) was awesome.

Last year you could see AJax had elite defensive tools but fouling and inconsistency limited his impact. This year the numbers are night and day, reflect how much of a defensive game-changer he’s becoming:

I know some people will never like blue on a Bucks jersey, but seeing these with a number on the front (as opposed to the leaks w/o them) makes a big difference. As a fan of the state logo I appreciate the connection to the state outline and has Greek NT vibes, too. I dig ‘em.
